Can "MID" be used to uniquely identify an email (Exchange server 2003)
Hello,While SEARCH-ing emails in WebDAV, i am seeing an ID element called MID in (http://schemas.microsoft.com/exchange/ namespace). I have used MID in my SEARCH query to read the new emails.like (\"http://schemas.microsoft.com/exchange/mid\" > CAST(\"" + strLastMID + "\" as 'i8')) where, strLastMID = the top most MID from the previous read (Eg: 1602446938018414593) But, i am not sure weather MID is UNIQUE or not? and how the sequence is generated?? Pls help! Below are the MID for the subsequent emails 124215896782877491313142165618667028491386274155904630785145833174994255872115303893439804866571602446938018414593The difference between anysuccessive MID is 72057594037927936 (Very interesting but strange)Thank you!! Cheers!!
